I saw you yesterday at an Interview to one of the channels before the Oscar
You mentioned that you visited Israel and we all look the same Arab and Israelis
And you asked Why the don't make peace?
Well i am almost 50 years old i born ins Israel and Tag my self at the left side of the political map Like democrats at the USA
To my opinion your question came from the Disneyland that People like live.
I was born in Israel to a mother that survived the Holocaust in Poland.
from the day i was born there wasn't a week that didn't felt some kind of Threat on my existence.
When i was young i believed that we should withdraw from the occupied territories, and then there will be peace.
The days went through we made peace with Egypt and Jordan all was great at the beginning my friends even started to make some business over there, But soon they started to tell us stories from there. Nothing has changed . Those people don't hate us because of the land or Palestine.They hate us because we are Jews. because we came here to this shit hall (look at Mark Twain description form 1867) and succeed to build a country in 60 years that give its people more confidence and freedom then any country at this region established hundred or thousand years ago.
The Arab hate us because we are a mirror in there face what can be done when you are concentrating in building and not in hate.
The days went through and we all understand that the peace will be cold peace.If they Don't kill us this is good enough
But then Buses started to explode. I remember that few years ago , we tried not to park near a bus since we were afraid that Suicide terrorist will explode inside. Due to bitter struggle we succeed to stop this battle.
I don't want bore describe the history of the recent years but i believe that most of the people in Israel don't believe more in peace .
The last few months in Syria are a great example
Syria is a land of Arabic people that on the paper has more common points then Israelis and Palestinians the joy that they kill each other there fill us with horror . No one of the nations is taking any action to stop this brutal massacre since there are so many cross interest over this land.
The Syrian case study was the last nail that shocked me and let me understood that no one will come to protect us when there will be a second Holocaust here .
The only chance that we have is to be better stronger then the surrounding. Yes this make us not nice this make us be brutal and violence, But the other choice is to be ashes in some stove.
